Safety

This stove meets standard EN521.It must be used only with butane/propane cartridges compliant with standard EN417.Decathlon Forclaz cartridges (100 g, 230 g, 450 g) comply with standard EN417 and are compatible with the Decathlon - Forclaz MT100, MT500 and MT500 remote stoves.Read the instructions and precautions for use attached to the stove.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge:

To set up a gas cartridge, always do so in a ventilated place, preferably outdoors and never near a flame, heat source, spark, individuals or flammable materials.Check that your stove's gas inlet is properly closed and check the location and condition of the leakproof seal.Make sure that the cartridge is on a stable flat surface. Do not shake.

Setting up the stove and connecting a gas cartridge (continued):

Hold the device and screw in the cartridge by hand by turning it clockwise until it stops, being careful not to damage the screw thread.Follow the same instructions to take off the cartridge. It can be dangerous to use cartridges other than Decathlon - Forclaz. It's normal to hear a small fizzing sound (escaping gas) for less than 2 seconds when connecting the cartridge to the stove.

Weight and dimensions

Stove weight: 170 gBag weight: 15 gDimensions: Ø 18 x h 11 cm. Folded size: l 11 x h 11 cm.The weight, volumes & sizes may vary slightly owing to production tolerances.

Ease of use

Pot stand on 3 legs, perfectly adapted to Forclaz Trek 500 stainless steel pans (Ø 13.5 cm).Flexible metal hose 31 cm long for easy remote positioning of the cartridge and simple ignition.Installation: Place the stove on a flat, unobstructed surface. Screw the end of the cable onto the cartridge and install it connected away from the stove. Open the flow control valve, operate the piezo (several times if necessary). Your stove is lit.

Heating time

Our internal tests give us values that reflect the actual conditions of use. In fact, we tested our stoves with Trek 500 stainless steel pans, filled with a litre of water.Score: boiling time for 1 L of water: 3 mins 23. Actual power: 2500 watts. Actual consumption: 181 g/hour.The results and performance of different stoves must be analysed in a comparable way (same conditions and parameters).

Heating time (continued)

The heating time of a stove is subject to a mandatory standardised process for EU certification but does not necessarily reflect the actual conditions of use.Standard EN521 parameters (heating rate):Propane gas at 3 bar pressure, without container. Results: 4.1 kW / 292.5 g/hour

Performance and consumption

Many parameters affect the capacity and performance of your stove: atmospheric pressure, wind, damp, etc. and can therefore change the boiling temperature, heating time as well as the number of litres heated with one cartridge. We strongly recommend using a windshield to optimise gas consumption. The performance of a stove is therefore assessed according to the gas consumed / heating speed.

Environmental approach

Our teams care about the environment, so this product has been subject to an eco-design approach that consists of removing surface treatments that only have an aesthetic function. As such, we have removed the paints and anodising on all the parts (feet & pan support, burner, gas flow control, etc.) of this stove, while still ensuring its performance, technical features and durability. These actions help to limit

The Product description is misleading

Designed and developed in the French Alps, this light, stable stove prepares your meals quickly and safely. This stove has no pre-heat vaporiser tube, so there is no way this stove would function in a cold environment such as the French Alps as you cannot invert the cannister. To describe the design and development process in this way is disingenuous.. This is a 3 season stove only, it would struggle in a UK winter never mind the French Alps.

輕便,好用
