Super comfortable and warm

Bought these on a bit of a gamble, got a medium and the fit is excellent. The conductive pads on the index finger and thumb work perfectly, and they pack down very small if that's of interest. Great buy, already bought another pair for my partner. Highly recommended

Stitching is a bad joke.

These are bad, very bad. Every stitch is extremely delicate and rips apart just by looking at it. After maybe the third time I've put them on, without extensive pulling on a cuff the thread on the inside palm came apart. Had to fix this. Few days later, when pulling them off by the fingers another stitch came apart on the index finger. Ridiculous. The gloves use too many panels and too much thread and they are way too delicate for their purpose.

Poor+++ quality

I rarely leave negative comments but this product deserves a negative review. I used this gloves and went a general walk and after couple of hours, I couldn't resist from getting cold. I had find a sports shop and buy a new pair of gloves. This is not worth buying

They fit like a glove, surprisingly

Feel very nice and as good as the Berghaus one's that they have replaced and at a fraction of the cost....!

great value

nice warms and comfort for milder days with good grip and strong pull loops. my only negative is it's a little snug for my finger width, probably wouldn't be good for 'sausage fingers'

Nice pair of gloves purchased for my daughter she loves them and highly recommends them

How is usage temperature measured?

All our gloves are laboratory tested on a thermal hand. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -20°C and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions.MT500 gloves are rated for warmth at 1 out of 5.Recommended temperature: 9°CLimit temperature: 4°C

How to properly protect your hands from the cold

In the same way you wear several layers of clothing when trekking, you can wear liner gloves under your gloves, that will act as a thermal base layer. This multi-layer system lets several layers of air to form around your hands, efficiently insulating them from the cold!Remember to wear large enough gloves to avoid your fingers being constricted. Compression reduces blood circulation in the fingers.

How to keep your hands warm with the right clothing

When active, the body generates heat which is preserved thanks to the thermal insulation of your clothing. If the clothing is inadequate, your body cools and the blood flow to the hands and feet drops in order to keep your upper body warm. Your clothing can therefore play a role in keeping your hands warm.

What is the dexterity of a glove?

The dexterity of a glove is its ability to handle objects. Our MT500 gloves were rated in laboratory conditions. The closer the glove's dexterity is to 5, the more the glove can handle objects in the same way as the bare hand. For example, with the MT500 gloves we tested the ability to easily put on and open a jacket, handle bivouac items, drink and eat.MT 500 gloves are rated for dexterity level at 4 out of 5.

Easy to put on

Pull the wrist strap with the opposite hand to put them on quickly and efficiently.

Are these gloves windproof?

MT500 Stretch gloves are not windproof.Did you know that the wind makes you feel colder? With an outdoor temperature of 0°C and a 20 km/h wind, the perceived temperature will be -10°C The windproof components reduce the wind chill resulting from the cooling effect of the wind or apparent wind generated by the sporting activity. We advise you to complete your purchase with our MT500 waterproof and windproof overgloves

Got your liner gloves caught in the rain?

If this happens then dry them in a dry place but avoid placing them on a heat source. This could damage the fibre and they could lose their shape!
