Inflatable Camping Bed Base - Camp Bed Air 70 cm - 1 Person

Very disappointing on first use as the electric mains mattress pump we bought in store to go with this could not reach a high enough pressure, so it was very sloppy to sleep on. Having looked into this online, next time I baulked at buying the special pump recommended on the website, as we bought this specifically as a spare bed we could pack away on a shelf, and can manage without the clutter of more stuff in our little flat. In the end I got a little pump adapter to use with a regular bike Schrader valve and 16mm outlet, as used for stand-up paddle boards, cost £8 from Amazon. It took less than 10 minutes to inflate it using my bike pump, so not worth getting the special pump just to save a couple of minutes. It needs to say clearly on the packet that normal airbed pumps do not work with this bed. Also I did not feel like paying another £25 for the special pump. For the £165 cost for the bed + mattress, it should come with an adapter included to use a bike or car pump to inflate it, or at the very least Decathlon ought to stock them.

After a few camping trips where my airbed deflated, I gave up and invested in this. It's brilliant. Has made such a difference to my sleeping experience whilst camping. Get one! You won't regret it. I use mine with the self-inflating camping mattress 65cm and it works a treat. A great night's sleep. Stable. Ultra comfy. So pleased with this product.

Inflates really easily especially with an airtent pump in a short time... However rolling it up to go back into the bag is quite a challenge... Like most camping equipment an over sized bag would be welcome Has plenty of room to store items under neath, don't really need the lift up base
