This is one of the very few carabiners on the market with round shaped stock. The shape of the cross section is circular, so this carabiner is the best for using with munter hitch, and with any tube/plate style belay device. Also, when using an belay device in autoblock a.k.a guide mode, you can put the back of this carabiner on the rope(s) passing in the auto-blocking plate, so the taking in the ropes will be much easier.
