Perfect, I've run 100K ultra in them!

I've run in top end shoes, and I've put some miles in. I've always found Decathlon trainers to last as long as the major brands. I've now run in these for around 8 months including 100Km Ultra across Exmore. I can't fault them! The 1 year replacement guarantee that Decathlon offer is also brilliant.

I purchased these trail shoes for dog walking and thought that they would probably do for 2/3 months, they are excellent, so comfortable with a great grip and still going great

Trail, fell, road - A great do it all shoe!

I've had all makes and models of shoes over the years, but I've always had a few niggles here and there, whether it be grip, comfort, fit. These are my current go to shoe, having been wearing them for training on the fells or urban orienteering. I live in Keswick, so they get a good thrashing on all the runs I do and I have to say I'm impressed. The fit is true to my sizing in Nike and Inov8. The are a narrower fit, but my feet are pretty normal, so not a problem. Nothing seems to be tearing or cracking and the grip is holding up. I'll be getting another pair for sure.

Love these but bring back some colour!

I wear these all day every day as they are stable and have great cushioning to minimise my plantar fasciitis pain. But now they're only available in ugly black so I'll have to find an alternative. Please bring back colour options!!

Great trail running shoe

Been on 3 runs over 14 miles in these shoes since purchase, great grip, very comfortable, no issue with blistering in fact no issues at all. Another great product.

A lot to improve

The shoes are comfortable but after only 2 uses the right foot internal logo sticker cracked and came off. Not what I expected to be honest.

Good trail shoe

Excellent value for money and do exactly what they are supposed to do!

Extremely Poor Quality

The fabric inside of these trainers disintegrated after a few weeks of fairly light use to the point of being painful to walk. This is the first time I'm having to throw away a pair of trainers after such a short time.

Shockingly Poor Quality

They look nice but after just a few weeks, inside of the trainers (around the ankles) worn to bare plastic making them painful to wear.

Great so far

Very pleased with these... they feel light, well cushioned and well balanced. I’ve been running and walking lots over the past year and have been through a lot of shoes ; many of which have disappointed on longer runs. However, these are the most comfortable yet by a mile. They’ve made running a much more enjoyable experience and the grippy lugs give me confidence on light / moderate trails.

Thank you for your feedback Graham!

Wainwright Coast To Coast Walk

Purchased the XT7 Trail Running Shoe as a gamble really to use on a long distance hike. Wainwrights Coast To Coast. I walked approx 190 miles over 10 days over various terrain from mountain rocky tracks to tarmac roads. These shoes performed brilliantly. I got a small blister on one of my toes on the second day but after changing my socks to a thinner one this sorted the problem out and no more blisters. I bought a half size up than my normal size 9.5 UK. If anyone is thinking of buying these shoes for a long distance walk then I highly recommend but remember they are not waterproof and offer limited ankle support. I was lucky in the fact that it hardly rained on my walk so I cannot comment on how long the shoe would take to dry out whilst walking in warm conditions. They certainly dried out quickly after a light rain shower. I had waterproof socks as back up. Would I use the shoe on any future long distance walk. Yes definitely but only in the summer months so the heat of the sun can the dry shoes and socks.

Good Trail shoe

In 2021 I my second pair of XT7, I bought the first in feb 2020 following a muddy downhill on the conwy mountain fell race where I felt insecure with old shoes! A few weeks later I ran the pipedream race and felt very good on the descent(and placed much higher). My last run with my first pair was a 40k on the north wales path from Bangor to Conwy in feb 2021(the mountain path not coastal). My second pair was bought with a pair of the evadict ultra and I used the xt7 mainly as a training shoe rather than racing. However I still have done scrambles, runs off tryfan, in the carneddau, forest tracks and coastal paths. I don't record which runs I do with which shoes so unsure how much mileage I have done them but the first pair racked up at least 400km(probably more like 550) before I felt time to retire them. Features I like are the lace pouch and I think the lugs are suited to muddy running more than rocks. n.b I have altered the laces by missing eyelets and using surgeons knot to make this shoe fit my foot(Something I do with all my mountaineering/running footwear)

Great show for great runs

I really like this pair, it's snug, comfortable and very grippy when running/walking in the countryside.

Excellent shoes, great sole, good quality. Very happy with these trail shoes

Much better I could thing

Use them for 600km, having the sole exhausted on the back out heel, where I most put my weight when run, and being able to see the next level of material underneath. I use to run between woods' paths and mud as well asphalt or rocks. So they did a good job.

Traction, grip or both?

Traction is what prevents your soles from slipping on loose surfaces. And grip is what prevents them from slipping on smooth surfaces. With their widely-spaced 5 mm lugs to fluff out mud more effectively, your trail running shoes literally bite into the ground: it's on muddy terrain that you'll see what they're truly capable of.And with a new rubber component that provides 42% grip, you can be sure your outsoles won't slip, even on wet rocks!

K-ring et kalensole : we offer you ultra-soft cushioning

The K-RING is exclusive heel cushioning technology in the form of a ring located in the heel: The hole in the middle disperses the shockwave.Kalensole is the EVA foam used in the midsole. It took three years of research to create this exclusive composition that improves cushioning by 34%, propulsion by 25% and provides better temperature stability and durability!

Running shoes suited to all terrains... and all types of stride!

Exclusive Kalenji technology that makes our shoes suitable for every stride type thanks to the denser foam located under the first metatarsus.

A shoe that gives you support when trail running.

When you're out running in wild nature for hours, you need shoes that give you maximum support! That's why we added a PU band sealed to the mesh around the back and sides of the shoe, to wrap your foot up snugly. As a result, When you pull your laces, your shoe tightens around your whole foot to provide extra support.

What are the secrets behind the xt7 design?

The XT7 features a whole array of details designed to provide support, versatility and traction:- There's a pocket on the tongue you can store your laces in!- Weighing just 325 g in size 8, your shoe is even lighter than before and suitable for body weight up to 90 kg. - The sole has a heel-to-toe drop of 10 mm- For optimal comfort - even in trail - the lining covers the whole interior of the shoe, right to the toes!

Shoes tested for durability

In order to provide you with ever more versatile shoes, the first thing we did was listen to your feedback. That led us to develop a new kind of rubber for the heel, one that gives better grip. Then we handed our shoes over to trail running enthusiasts for 6 months, men and women who tested them out under real-life conditions every day, on all terrain.Result: On top of its exceptional level of grip and support, the XT7 will last you up to 1,000 km !
