Rubber Disc Weight with Handles 28 mm 20 kg, Partly Recycled Cast Iron

Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials until we reached the perfect balance. Following several years of experiments, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron made from at least 80% scrap metal and steel waste – a real feat for the world of metal! To ensure that the quality is the same as classic cast iron, tests are carried out in partner laboratories.

Lower-body workout focusing on building muscle mass: - High barbell squat: 4×6-8 reps - Lunges with bar: 3×8-10 reps/side - Goblet squat: 3×10-12 reps - Romanian deadlift with bar: 4×10 reps - Leg curl with dumbbells: 3×10-12 reps Start each exercise with the minimum number of reps, and increase by one rep/week until you reach the max.

If you plan to use your weights on bars or dumbbells, you\'ll need disc collars (ref: 8574652). They are sold as a pair! Note that they can support up to 15 kg of weight in a vertical position.

This rubber weight is compatible with 28 mm diameter bars: - 1.2 metre straight bar (ref: 8289897) - 1.2 metre curl bar (ref.: 8484124) - 86 cm triceps bar (ref.: 8484125) - 35 cm short bar (ref.: 1041986) - 45 cm threaded bar (ref.: 8766096) - 1.55 m straight bar (ref.: 8289896) - 2 m straight bar (ref.: 8289900) It is not compatible with weight-lifting bars (with a diameter of 50 mm).

These weights can be used on 28 mm bars or without a bar using their ergonomic handle. Their rubber coating dampens impacts and keeps them from marking your floors. The stainless steel collar makes them easy to install on bars.

These weight training discs are made of cast iron, covered in rubber. Cast iron can rust if exposed to the elements or to moisture, which is why we recommend storing these weights indoors in a dry place. If you want to clean your weights, you can use a damp or microfibre cloth. And for storage, you can use a specially-designed mount (ref: 8796727) or the bottom shelf of a piece of furniture.
