We’re very happy with this purchase, scooter looks very nice, it’s quiet and very light. My daughter loves it!
Bought for my son - but I use it just as much!
Easy shopping experience and great advise by the sale person.
Delivered in the time promised without problems. Appears to be well designed and constructed and, most importantly, my granddaughter who is on the smallish side for 11 loves it.
A much-wanted Chrsitmas present; my son is very fond of his scooter. He chose this model as it has a brake on the handlebars as well as the back wheel. One star taken off as it is stiff to fold.
Overall a good scooter. However the setup from the factory is not ideal. Always check when pointing the front wheel straight forward, that the handle bars are at 90 degrees and not at an incorrect angle. Also, the steering column seems to stick on a few that I tried, it's not a smooth turn of the handlebars (feels like it sticks in line with the hexagonal strut that runs from the wheel up, through to the steering column). After trying a few in the shop I found one that was better. Reviewing the scooter in shop, and utilising the support of the in shop workshop is recommended.
Quality build, great scooter, my daughter loves it. Easy adjustable hight. And the break lever is much safer

Who is the mid 9 scooter designed for?
For all teenagers measuring between 1.25m and 1.75m, and weighing up to 100kg. So plenty of people! You can adjust the height of the MID 9 scooter. It's also kitted out for short rides in town (journeys of up to 2 km).For longer or more regular journeys, we recommend scooters from the adult range. Town by Oxelo.
Is the mid 9 scooter suitable for town?
Yes!Getting around on a scooter is faster and more fun than walking. The MID 9 is kitted out for comfort: front and rear mudguards to protect from splashes in wet weather, brake on the handlebar, suspension, and large wheels (175 mm) to get past small obstacles in town.

What safety precautions should you take?
You should always wear protective equipment (helmet, knee pads and elbow pads) when scootering.Most serious accidents take place during the first few months of use: spend time learning the basics so that you can control your speed and brake in emergency situations in all weather conditions (particularly on wet terrain, always make sure to use your foot brake).

How should you maintain your scooter?
Check the condition of your scooter before and after each use, as well as its ability to brake properly, and make sure there is no abnormal play, cracks, or sharp edges.The wheels and bearings are parts that wear out. Remember to check them and change them if necessary.You can repair and extend the lifespan of your scooter with spare parts that can be ordered through your local Decathlon store's Workshop.

For example, one of our tests involves a machine folding the scooter 10,000 times to check its folding system.As well as lab tests we do field tests - some measured and others based on the testers' opinions - to really put the product through its paces.
