This backpack is water repellent. In other words, it repels raindrops in light rain. But don’t ask too much of it: it’s not fully waterproof. Heavy showers will seep through. Need extra protection? Equip yourself with our 10-20 L rain cover (ref. 8772113).

Nice budget bag

I was after a bag for snowboarding which was also suitable for small hand luggage and found this to be a good compromise with some alteration. I was struggling to find something small enough and good for both things from any shop, and the under £10 bags from Decathlon were not really big enough. Unfortunately this does not come with a waterproof cover which I think would be worth paying a bit more for as 10l covers are not as easy to find as bigger sizes. Also the back piece of plastic in this is sewn in but I managed to turn the bag inside out and cut the stitching so it could be removed when needed, and that then made it plane compliant for sizing. good amount of pocketed areas and a nice look to it. it would be better if the back part was removable as standard, or if some more of the bags could be sized a little smaller for planes if people want to use them for sport and travel
