How waterproof is it?
5,000 Schmerbers level (JIS 1092 standard) with 2-layer coating and fully waterproof seams! Schmerbers is a measure of waterproofing capacity: the higher it is, the better! The tangible result? This hiking jacket optimally withstands moderate rain of 60 L/m²/hr for a full hour.
Why does breathability make all the difference?
The 20 cm side openings create natural ventilation during exercise, while the RET=12 fabric effectively wicks away your perspiration. Optimal warmth during the most demanding outings!
A feminine, practical cut
The feminine cut of this jacket adapts to suit all figures. Its design makes it possible to wear a light pullover or fleece underneath, while its inner lining offers more comfort. Sizing tip: select your usual size or one size larger if you prefer to wear your jackets looser.
A design there to protect you
This jacket follows a coated 2-layer design. The outer fabric is paired with a mesh lining to protect the interior lining. This coating is similar to resin applied to the fabric, which ensures optimal waterproofing and breathability for all of your hikes.
An adjustable, removable hood.
This hiking jacket’s hood combines modularity with a personalised fit. Removable with press-studs to adapt to the weather, it is height-adjustable with its elasticated cord and in terms of depth, through a riptab tab at the back. Full versatility in line with your needs.
What are Schmerbers?
The Schmerber measures the resistance to water pressure: the higher the value, the more waterproof the fabric. With a rating of 20,000mm H2O (Schmerbers), this jacket can withstand a water column of 20m and guarantees optimal protection, even in heavy rain.
What is a RET index?
Thermal Evaporative Resistance measures the ability of a fabric to wick away body moisture. The lower the RET, the better! At RET=6, this jacket reaches peaks, ideal for your intense climbs. Scale: <6 = extremely breathable, <12 = highly breathable, <20 = breathable, >20 = not very breathable.
How to look after your jacket
Do up the zips, turn the jacket inside out, and machine-wash it at 30°C. Use a smaller dose of detergent (preferably one specifically for waterproof clothing) to avoid residues. Rinse again and gently wring out to protect the jacket.
