This swim life vest was designed for kids who are already comfortable in the water and are looking for moderate buoyancy.

A word from the Product Manager

After observing the needs of kids in the discovering swimming phase, we invented this new design of life vest to provide comfort and ease in practice. Its simple shape envelops the torso and adapts to a kid’s size, while freeing the arms and shoulders for greater freedom of movement. Kids using it must already be comfortable in the water because the buoyancy volume selected for this life vest will place a kid just on the surface to perform the first swimming movements.

The stages of aquatic awakening

There are 3 stages to discovering water: - Familiarisation: build trust and overcome apprehension through fun games. The kid gets used to water. - Immersion and breathing: control your breathing to feel safe and put your head under water. - Floating and moving: develop independence and discover how the body behaves in water before moving around alone. A progressive, fun-filled course for a successful introduction to water!

Why an inflatable vest?

The SWIMVEST+swimming life vest is part of the “Discovering swimming” experience The kids are comfortable in the water but have difficulty in floating They use their arms and legs and need great freedom of movement to benefit from their experience. This swim life vest gives them the level of buoyancy needed to let them progress and empower their swimming.

Recommendations for use

This life vest is not a life jacket but a life vest to assist with learning to swim. Ensuring the life vest fits properly on the kid is very important to avoid friction. Follow the signs shown inside the life vest. For use under constant adult supervision.

Brilliant for little swimmers

The vest is great at keeping little ones safe, but also allowing enough movement for them to gain more confidence and enjoy the water

Unfortunately the colour isn’t really safe for child use as it camouflages them underwater , bright colours are need in the range for safety . The stitching around the neck /collar is ver tough and rubs the skin
