Safety information and standards
All our walking and running treadmills comply with standard: N 957-6: 2014. That is why they contain: - a belt measuring at least 1200x400mm for treadmills with speeds between 8 km/h and 16 km/h. - a belt measuring at least 1300x400mm for treadmills with speeds greater than 16 km/h. - a front and side support bar - a step at least 8 cm wide - an emergency stop activated by a safety key that stops the treadmill.
The smart console
The touchscreen and its LED display add a modern touch. You can always see all the info you need: time, distance, speed, pace, incline, calories, and BPM if a heart rate monitor is connected via Bluetooth or ANT+. Speed and incline shortcuts and the magnetic remote control allow you to easily adjust your effort. This treadmill is compatible with the Kinomap app, which offers a unique experience with interactive workouts.
Noise level
Silence is an essential criterion that we carefully consider when developing our products. We strive to reduce the noise our treadmills make so they are more enjoyable for both users and those around them. The RUN500 treadmill has been measured at 62 dB at its maximum speed of 16 km/h.
Warranty
2 years (parts and labour). 5 years (metallic frame).Spare parts available for 10 years. Decathlon does not provide after-sales service for other than Decathlon-branded machines.
Motor power
Tested at its maximum speed of 16 km/h for a maximum user weight of 130 kg, the RUN500\'s engine power is 1.25 HP and 932 watts. Domyos sizes all of the electrical components based on the treadmill\'s maximum capacities, to ensure the best user experience and a reasonable electrical consumption. All of our treadmills are tested in the laboratory for 600 hours non-stop to ensure the integrity of their components.
Heart rate monitor
Console compatible with Bluetooth and ANT+ heart rate monitors (not included) Bluetooth connectivity, FTMS and Heart Rate Monitor profiles: Some watches use a so-called closed protocol and cannot connect to our cardio equipment if they are not compatible with FTMS profiles; this information should be checked in the manufacturer\'s instructions.

This is a great folding treadmill and I couldn’t have expected any more for the money. After completing loads of research this came out on top and ticked all the boxes and we haven’t been disappointed. The auto incline feature and compatibility with various running apps are great features. The comfort of the deck underfoot is also a bonus. The size is great for us and we haven’t actually needed to fold it away yet as it’s not as imposing as I thought it might be, but it’s a nice feature to have if required. Although narrower and shorter than commercial treadmills we find the deck space absolutely fine, even running at full speed. Noise is also really good - much quieter than I anticipated!
If I had to be picky, the bottle holder is useless and the USB charging port could do with giving off a bit more power to actually charge an iPad whilst in use but this is a minor issue.
Between my wife and I we’ve run a few hundred kilometres since having it ranging from 5km to 20km and it’s handled it without any issues. Overall, would definitely recommend this treadmill.
Great machine but the ordering and collecting was a total faff - and I paid for the privilege!!!! You dropped the ball on this one Decathalon.
Really pleased with this treadmill.
