Practising jumping to promote psychomotor development.

The psychomotor development of the child has genetic, motor and psychological foundations. If it acts on the motor system, a product can therefore influence psychomotor development. This motor plan comprises several elements, which come into play when using the trampoline: body schema, dynamic coordination, balance, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and temporal and spatial structuring. In short, there are some wonderful discoveries in store for your little one!

          Practising temporal and spatial structuring.

Temporo-spatial structuring includes everything that relates to the child\'s positioning in time (before/after, rhythmic activity, day/night, season, etc.) and in space (in front/behind, over/under, right/left, etc.) like jumping up and down!

          Improving eye-hand coordination.

Hand-eye coordination includes actions that allow children to aim with all or part of their body. For younger children: following a path, then aiming with large objects and large targets, with hands and feet, and then gaining in precision until they reach total control with individual fingers. Here, the aim is to practise jumping at the chosen location on the designated surface.

          Work on body image.

Body schema is the representation that children have of their bodies, enabling them to have finer control over their movements and, more generally, self-awareness. It is first constructed from sensations and actions (\"body felt, body acted\"), before being represented and spoken of (\"body represented\", drawn). The more the child acts, the more he refines his body schema and the better he acts in return!\"

An ideal trampoline for working on your balance while moving.

Children under the age of 4 must learn how to control their body and move in any given direction, then gradually refine their movements while moving their feet side by side. From age 4, children can walk with one foot in front of the other on a beam that is at least one and half times the width of their feet. This trampoline is perfect for letting him experiment while having fun!

          Fantastic Little Starter Trampoline

Fantastic little trampoline for my toddlers as they continue their gym activities at home. Compact and easy to put together with the provided tool (and even whilst being climbed all over in excitement by 2 very eager kiddos!) Would be happy to recommend this trampoline

          Very Good

Though initially it took extra minutes to setup the trampoline, it was nice in the end and easy to use.
