Choosing your saddle width
To adapt to every cyclist, this saddle comes in two sizes: 145 mm and 155 mm.Following a study on ischial bone spacing, we recommend the most suitable size for your road cycling habits. For spacing from 90 to 120 mm, choose the 145 mm saddle. For spacing from 120 to 140 mm, choose the 155 mm saddle. If you have an upright posture (back at 45-60°), the 155 mm version will be more comfortable, as it distributes pressure points more evenly.
Watch the video tutorial to measure the width between ischial bones:
You can also watch our tutorial video which will explain all the steps described above: https://players.brightcove.net/3415345270001/DOHosj6Wy_default/index.html?videoId=ref:p2575062_1
To make the most of your bike ride:
For maximum comfort, adjust your saddle in four key areas. Choose a model suitable to your posture (for example, a back inclined at 30°). Adjust the height according to your body shape, then adjust the angle to avoid any discomfort. Finally, modify its advance or offset for good alignment. For total comfort, do not forget to wear cycling shorts adapted to the duration of your ride.
1. determining saddle height (part 1)
To measure your inside leg and choose the right size of bike, you will need a tape measure, a hardback book and a pencil. Stand barefoot, back against a wall, feet 15 to 20 cm apart. Place the book between your legs and gently move it upwards towards your perineum. Mark the top of the book on the wall with a pencil, then measure the distance between the floor and this mark. This measurement is essential to determine your perfect frame size.
1. determining saddle height (part 2)
No need to be a pro to adjust your saddle. There is a reliable, easy-to-follow method: Measure your inside leg (from the ground to the top of a book between your legs). Multiply this measurement by 0.883. For example, for an inside leg of 89 cm: 89 × 0.883 = 78.6 cm. This is the ideal height between the centre of the bottom bracket and the top of your saddle. This adjustment guarantees smooth, pain free pedalling, and better efficiency on your bike.
2. adjusting the saddle incline
A well-adjusted saddle is not a question of height. Its angle plays a key role in your comfort. What you need:a spirit level. Place it between the centre and the tip of the saddle. Adjust until the saddle is perfectly horizontal. Then, go out for a ride and try it several times. It is normal to adjust the angle a little depending on how it feels. The aim:find the angle that allows you to pedal smoothly, without pressure or discomfort.
3. measuring your sit bone distance
To measure the gap between your ischial bones, place two pieces of corrugated cardboard on top of a stool. Sit on it, with your back straight, whilst applying great pressure for one minute. Stand up and identify the two marks that have been left. Mark the centre of each groove and measure the distance between the two points. This measurement will help you choose the correct width of saddle for optimal comfort.
How to choose your saddle based on your riding style?
For the best choice of saddle, your position is key. If you ride with your back straight (90°), choose a wide and comfortable saddle. For a slightly bent position (60°), a medium saddle offers a good balance between comfort and performance. Finally, if you are in sport mode (30°), a narrow saddle with a thin nose is essential for long term performance and comfort.
Tests conducted with decathlon sportslab:

A precise recommendation to choose the size that is best suited to your body shape and pedal in total comfort, even on long rides.

Product Reviews

This has been my go to saddle for the past 12years. This is my second one. It looks great, is comfortable, even on long rides and has a relief channel cutout. My only complaint is is that they no longer make them in white.
Went to buy this saddle on a whim as I was chafing badly with the last one. In 1 ride I was up 10w power and felt incredibly comfortable. Not sure I can say it’s the best saddle in the world but it’s made the world of difference to me and fits perfectly (I’m 6 foot, 78kg, average build)
Used every other day for four years. 10,000 plus miles and still performing well
