There is cast iron underneath the rubber on your weights, which can rust if exposed to moisture. So do not leave this weight outdoors or in a damp cellar. You can clean it with a cloth to remove dust from time to time, and store it on a bottom shelf or a wall-mounted weight holder (ref: 8796727).
