Behaviour when in the sun

Although this cover provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (from the water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc., must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt the user from following the relevant advice: wear a UV protection t-shirt, wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap (refer to the DECATHLON product range of UV-protective clothing), regularly apply an appropriate sun cream, drink regularly, etc.

Removable side panels

Comes with Wind Stop side walls attached by rip-tab to convert your beach umbrella into a beach shelter. Sand pockets keep the side panels on the ground.

Resistance to wind

The Paruv 160 parasol is wind resistant up to 20 km/h. To secure it in the sand, use a screw-in anchor, available to purchase separately. When these side panels are assembled and the pockets are filled sand, the parasol remains in place and is stable (base pushed into the sand, with pole inclined) and it can resist winds of up to 20 km/h in this position, leaning into the wind.
