For 6 years, we have been working to show women's bodies with one goal: to make women feel beautiful in our swimwear. The chest is not crushed, the bum is not highlighted, and the cleavage is enhanced. Our mission is to ensure that every woman, whatever her body type or size, finds a swimming costume that suits her.
Is the size or style not suitable for you? would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room: you should feel supported. The elastane content in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire life cycle with different indicators. An overall score (ABCDE) is attributed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type with one another (t-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Whether you are a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other water sports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwest France. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.
Based in Hendaye, in south-west France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surfing and bodyboarding brand. In our offices at the water's edge, we can design a swimsuit and then on the same day test it directly in the sea to check it stays in place in the waves.
Along with the sliding triangle, tie-side bikini bottoms are an essential element of a bikini! They are a summer wardrobe must-have. Thanks to the high-cut leg at the tops of the thighs, they make your legs look longer. Contrary to popular belief, all women can wear them, provided you are comfortable with your body and particularly your stomach, as they are rather low rise bikini bottoms. The wide side-ties can be tightened and ensure the bikini bottoms stay in place in the waves.
From 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. Please do your bit by always keeping your underwear on in our changing rooms.
