Description
Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other watersports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.
We have created the Jane one-piece for women wanting to surf in waves of less than one meter without the risk of losing their swimsuit. Ideal for surfing in warm water, its cut has been designed to limit chafing against the board and wax. Its feminine seams enhance the silhouette and do not crush the bust. Featuring a long back zip and a pull tab, it is easy to take on and off.
You regularly go surfing. During your sessions, you paddle out to the line-up, duck dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle roll if you are on a longboard, then surf waves of less than one metre. You often fall and are used to being shaken about underwater. Your swimsuit must meet the requirements of your activity and stay in place for each of your movements. We have designed a range for you that is suited to regular activity and your body shape.
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwest France. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.
For 6 years, we have been working to show women's bodies with one goal: to make women feel beautiful in our swimwear. The chest is not crushed, the bum is not highlighted and the cleavage is enhanced. Our mission is to ensure that every woman, whatever her body type or size, finds a swimming costume that suits her.
From 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. This decision was made to help protect our planet and reduce plastic use. Saving 940 km of plastic every year! Please do your bit by always keeping your underwear on in our changing rooms.
To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, and you should feel supported. The elastane content in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.
Is the size or style not suitable for you? Would you like to exchange it at your Decathlon store? No problem, just be sure not to cut off the label of the swimsuit in case you want to exchange it.
