Check your tyre for wear by inspecting the tread.There are two tell-tale signs:if you can see the protective underlay beneath the tyre, or if the tread pattern has worn away.If either of these is the case, it is time to fit a new tyre.
To remove a worn tyre, start by removing the wheel from your bicycle and then completely deflate the inner tube.Next, push the sides of the tyre inwards to detach it from the rim. Now take the DECATHLON tyre levers (ref.8930710). Use them as levers to pull the tyre over the rim. If necessary, attach a tyre lever to a spoke to keep the opening open, then repeat the process until one entire side of the tyre is free.
