To properly maintain your bike, it is important to know the exact dimensions of your tyres.This information is found on the sidewall of the tyre (diameter and section).For example, 27.5x1.90 means a tyre with a diameter of 27.5 inches and a width of 1.90 inches. On the sidewall, you will also find the dimensions in mm in the international ETRTO unit. For example, 50-584 means a tyre that is 50 mm wide and has an inner diameter of 584 mm (approximately 27.5x2.00).

To remove your inner tube, the tools you'll need are:

Simplify tyre removal with B'TWIN tyre changers.

Checks to make before installing an inner tube:

Check your tyre for wear and make sure there are no objects stuck inside.Also check the rim and the rim base:even a small crack can damage your inner tube.

How to change an inner tube:

Before installation, watch our explanatory video.Pre-inflate the inner tube, insert the valve into the appropriate hole, install it in the tyre, then gently push it into the rim.

Fitting a tyre:

Always start installationat the valve.Finish at the other end without using tools to avoid damaging the inner tube.

Inflating a tyre:

Always inflate to the pressure specified by the manufacturer, which can be found on the tyre.Check that the tyre remains aligned throughout the inflation process..

Pro advice:

A simple pressure check before setting off can prevent a puncture caused by a pinch and optimise your bike's performance.
