Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials until we reached the perfect balance. Following several years of experiments, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron made from at least 80% scrap metal and steel waste – a real feat for the world of metal! To ensure that the quality is the same as classic cast iron, tests are carried out in partner laboratories.

What bars can you use with this 20 kg weight training disc?

This 20 kg cast iron weight is compatible with all 28 mm bars, including: - Straight bar, 1.2 metres - Curl bar, 1.2 metres - Triceps bar, 86 cm - Short bar, 35 cm - Threaded bar, 45 cm - Straight bar, 1.55 metres - Straight bar, 2 metres However, it cannot be used with a 50 mm bar.

With disc collars, you can train safely!

Don't forget to invest in a pair of disc collars to prevent your weights from slipping on the bar as you work out. Ours are sold in pairs. The maximum weight supported by the disc collars in a vertical position is 15 kg.

Store your weight discs properly to use for a long time

Store your discs indoors in a dry place. By investing in a disc holder or storage rack, you’ll save floor space. The bottom of a piece of furniture can also store your weights. Feel free to clean with a microfibre cloth if they get dusty.

An idea for a back workout focusing on building muscle mass. Short recovery between each set - Pull-ups 3×8-10 reps - Rows with bar, pronated grip 3×8-10 reps - Lumberjack rows with dumbbells 3×8-10 reps/side - Face pull with elastic 3×12-15 reps You can increase by one rep per week, starting with the lower end of the range. Always keep a two rep margin.
