Simple, functional, classy.
Sturdy comfortable quality at a very competitive price.
A 39 = 6, not 5.5, so I don't know what Decathlon has decided differently. Anyway, order a size larger than you need. The upper strap should be further down on the outer side to be more stable. OK, nothing special.
Just used and abused these sandals on a family trip to Cornwall. put them on the day I got them, drove 5 hours in them, then wore them everywhere for a week, campsites, shower, rocks, beaches, in the sea, round villages and coastal paths. Even slept in them a few times, Drove 6hours back in them. Best walking sandals I have bought. Look even better worn in. Can’t post a picture sadly but they are great.
The most comfortable sandals that my husband has ever owned.... But for considerably less price Used lots throughout the summer and challenged to constant positivity.
I'm wearing these as I write and they really are comfortable to walk in. We're off to the South of France soon and I know they'll cope admirably with all those long walks I'll be taking to work up an appetite (and a thirst)
really comfortable and practical sandal. has 3 adjustable straps to ensure good fit. excellent value for money.
Best sandles ever! Comfortable no blisters even at the beginning
I bought these to wear when it was very hot in 2018, for my huge, swollen feet. They gave my feet great support (I'm quite flat footed), and were comfortable throughout my pregnancy. They were well worth the money
I've just bought my second pair (for two different locations) having bought my first pair back last July. When you first try them on they are not that comfortable because they are new. Run them in by wearing for short hikes in the first few days and they turn into a really comfortable pair of hiking sandals. The first pair have a few hundred miles on them and they have very little signs of wear apart from a nice "polish" to the internals. Great shoes!
I bought size 39 and wear a UK 5.5 shoe. They are fully adjustable in three places, so it's easy to get a good fit, and they've been comfortable since first wearing them. No rubbing or chafing. However, I have quite narrow feet. The toe box is fine for me, but might be a bit narrow for people with wider feet. I wish they made these in black, too, and I'd buy another pair.
I have done some walks of several miles in these sandals. I also wore them for everyday use in the hot weather, even to work. They were very comfortable from the start and I would highly recommend them. I will buy sandals from Decathlon now. Good design too, I intend to buy my wife the equivalent ladies sandal.
really comfortable and stylisih good value for money
I find these completely unusable. After purchase, I wore them for a day - on both feet they rubbed my feet first to blisters, then to open wounds in 3 places on each foot. I "rested" them for a couple of weeks, allowed my feet to heal & tried them again - within a day, 5 open wounds & a blister 2cm across. I'm astounded that anyone would make shoes out of a material that is so abrasive to skin. For the record, I've had a pair of similar appearance ones from Marks and Spencer for over 10 years, which have been very comfortable - their only problem has been that the soles needs re-gluing periodically. Don't waste your money on Quechua sandals.
I find it very difficult to find sandals that fit me properly as either they are to small or to big or my big toe end up outside the soul. I've a shoe size of 9.5 and and most of the time I end up wearing a size 10 which is slightly to big.. The only reason I found out about Decathlon was when I bought a pair of 2nd hand skis which turned out being one of Decathlons own brand. I went to the nearest shop to me, Braehead near Glasgow in Scotland, saw they had sandals, tried them on and they were a perfect fit with loads of adjustments.. I have had these sandals every day since I bough them, which is about 6 weeks now. Never had sore feet, no blisters and the support is just fantastic and being leather with a leather footbed these are the best I have ever had.. Well done and really worth getting.

The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. Since not all needs are the same, we are always looking for the best solution to develop on loose, country trails (unpaved forest paths) and mineral trails (like a coastal path).
Our walking sandals are designed for use on country trails. We choose and test the components of our soles to best adapt to the practice of hiking on soft footpaths (for example, woodland earthy footpaths) or mineral footpaths (for example, rocky coastal footpaths). Road use (tarmac) may lead to the premature wear of your soles.Do not use them on mountain trails with lots of elevation gains.
We use a leather called "split leather".The leather used on these sandals comes from cows. We do not kill any animals to obtain this leather: we only use leather waste from the agrofood industry.
